BARROERO v. BARROERO
Multi-jurisdictional dispute involving ownership interest in Los Angeles Raiders. Our office participated in years of litigation concerning ownership of a share of the Los Angeles Raiders. The Los Angeles Raiders claimed the interest, among others. The matter was ultimately resolved to our client’s satisfaction after trial assignment.
VITUG v. GRIFFIN
Wrongful death claim resulting in published opinion expanding tort liability of receivers. Our case is mentioned in many major books on civil procedure and tort liability.
MARTINEZ v. KSOL
Lead counsel class in action. Our office litigated issues concerning Radio Station stunts for over five years. This case led to payment by a Radio Station for three days of free tolls on the Bay Bridge. The case drew national news coverage, and still draws occasional mention in the press.
WALTER’S FURNITURE v. ALAMEDA NEWSPAPER GROU
Lead counsel in class action. This case involved a claim of overstated circulation by newspapers. The case settled for a net value of 3.5 million. The case drew national news coverage.
NSC v. ALLOUCHE
Lead defense counsel in complex IP/Tech litigation. Our office has handled a number of trade secret cases over the years. This case involved defending against a TRO and preliminary injunction request. In less than six months, dozens of depositions were taken in multiple countries, and over ten thousand documents were exchanged. Our efforts led to the dissolution of the preliminary injunction.
